ATHLETE STORIES
Different runners.
Different goals.
Individual coaching.
From first races and personal bests to ultramarathons and elite competition, every athlete brings a different starting point, lifestyle and ambition.
The coaching starts with understanding the individual — then building the training around them.
WHAT GOOD COACHING LOOKS LIKE
Coaching measured in more than race times.
Performance matters. Personal bests, race results and progress towards ambitious goals are part of why people choose coaching.
But good coaching should also help you become a more confident, knowledgeable and resilient athlete. It should make training fit more successfully around the rest of your life, help you understand why you are doing what you are doing, and give you someone to work through the difficult periods with.
The stories below reflect that wider picture.

DIFFERENT RUNNERS. DIFFERENT CHALLENGES.
The athletes I coach have very different backgrounds, experience levels and ambitions.
For some, progress means running a first personal best or becoming consistent enough to enjoy training again. For others, it means preparing for mountain ultras, championship races or competing at a high level.
The distance or level changes. The principle doesn’t: understand the athlete first, then build the coaching around them.
From 5K to ultramarathons.
